Makeup on Kyle

The first is an out-of-kit makeup, consisting only of fake blood, latex, and the colour pallettes.

I went for the burn victum look.

The second was a broken nose.

Can't find the final but this will help explain the next one. We made alginate molds of our faces and cast ultracal. Then we sculpted the prosthetic in clay and molded that. Then fill with hot foam or the like.

The third isjust a two part prosthetic of a pointy witch/wizrd nose and chin

Would have been much better if he shaved.

Skull

A fake skull thats covered in latex, paper towel, latex, cotton balls, latex, and paint.

Bomb

Something fun I learned in school a few months ago; How to make bombs. Naturally not real ones but props.

The light actually blinked.

Latex Mask

The first project I did in class (last September) was  a latex mask.
We were given a clay gorilla head and were told to turn it into somthing else. Then we made ultracal molds and latex masks of them. I made a demon/dragon creature.

All I really kept from the gorilla was the nostrils.

Z Brush

Z Brush is probably my favourite program to work with.

Being a huge fan of Mike Mignola's comics, I decided to create Hellboy.

This was the first thing I ever made in Z Brush. The only expirience I have with 3D programs is with Anim8or, which I used a lot in highschool. Hellboy was for a school project.

The second project was to make a body for the head in the first. When I tried opening the tool of the head I discovered the file got corrupted by the school computer and was left with just the jpeg I handed in to the teacher.

So, with great haste and laziness, I made this guy...

I called him Mad Doc. Didnt really care for the character. Wasn't imaginative at all.

Currently I am playing with hard surface objects in the program. Planning on making a Z Brush model for Super Dinosaur and one for the Key to Hamunaptra from the Mummy franchise that I will print with a 3D printer.
